Works to uphold the WSAVA’s position as the global leader in companion animal veterinary practice research, development, continuing education, and quality improvement.
Objectives
Provide advice and guidance on the presentation of WSAVA-owned and WSAVA-endorsed research and global guidelines.
Review and approve the scientific abstracts to be featured at WSAVA World Congress.
Make recommendations on the subjects and speakers to be featured in the World Congress scientific program, including providing speaker introductions.
Undertake proactive horizon scanning for scientific developments of relevance to companion animal veterinary practice and create comprehensive knowledge summaries/position statements on such topics for dissemination to the WSAVA community. (This is relevant to developments that are not already the responsibility of a WSAVA committee.)
