The WSAVA’s Global Guidelines and other resources are delivered by its hard-working clinical and standing committees. Each is made up of a global team of volunteers with expertise in and a passion for the relevant area. In addition to helping to advance veterinary medicine, many committee members tell us that they really enjoy the unique opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues from around the world.
If you would like to get more involved, the following Committees are currently looking for new members:
Oncology Working Group
Our new Oncology Working Group will work to overcome regional variations in veterinary oncology treatment and raise awareness of the different types of tumors affecting companion animals. It is seeking Specialists with an interest in a specific aspect of oncology, such as surgery, medical oncology or radiation therapy, to support its work. Deadline for applications: January 31, 2021
Spay-Neuter Standardization Committee
Reproduction is an area of practice that is evolving rapidly thanks to new treatments and approaches. Our new Spay-Neuter Standardization Committee aims to offer WSAVA members the latest information on the control of reproduction. Deadline for applications: February 15, 2021
