Join WSAVA as Our Chief Partnerships Officer

Are you a visionary partnership leader who thrives on building meaningful relationships and driving sustainable growth? Are you ready to make a global impact in animal and human health through collaborative action?

Drive Global Impact. Shape the Future of Companion Animal Veterinary Practice.

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) is looking for an exceptional Chief Partnerships Officer to lead our global fundraising and strategic partnerships strategy. This is a new, high-profile role offering the chance to shape the future of our association and build long-term value with purpose-led partners across sectors and geographies.

About the Role

The Chief Partnerships Officer will play a critical role in growing WSAVA’s income from corporate and philanthropic sources, strengthening global partnerships, and positioning WSAVA as the veterinary association of choice for shared-impact initiatives.

You will lead the full fundraising and partnership lifecycle — from identifying and developing a strong global pipeline, to securing and stewarding high-value relationships that align with our mission.

In the first 6–12 months, your priorities will include:

  1. Reviewing and strengthening WSAVA’s corporate partnerships offering, ensuring it meets the needs of both our partners and our evolving global strategy.
  2. Designing and delivering a growth plan to drive sustainable income and expand WSAVA’s global reach and influence.
  3. Working closely with our Professional Congress Organiser (PCO) to align and integrate association-wide and congress-specific partnership opportunities for maximum value and visibility.

You’ll work at the heart of a small, agile, and globally dispersed team, collaborating with our Executive Director, Board, volunteer leaders, and subject experts across continents. View the full job description here.
