Advocacy and Communications Committee

Goal

The purpose of the Advocacy and Communications Committee (ACC) is to support WSAVA by strengthening its global influence and impact. The ACC advises on strategies and tactics that enhance visibility, understanding, and respect for WSAVA’s mission — and drives advocacy efforts that advance companion animal veterinary care worldwide.

Objectives

  • Visibility & Awareness: Increase global understanding and respect for WSAVA’s mission, values, and initiatives.
  • Policy & Campaign Development: Create policies, campaigns, and strategic communications that promote high-quality companion animal veterinary care globally.
  • Strategic Alliances: Build and maintain partnerships with like-minded organizations to leverage collaboration, amplify advocacy efforts, and achieve shared goals.
