We are delighted to announce that bidding is now open to host one of the upcoming WSAVA World Congresses (2028 to 2031)! As part of our commitment to a truly global and inclusive veterinary community, we warmly invite WSAVA member associations to submit an official Expression of Interest to host this prestigious international event.
Why host?
Hosting the WSAVA World Congress offers a unique opportunity to:
- Bring world-class speakers and cutting-edge veterinary education to your region, giving members access to unparalleled knowledge.
- Showcase your country, city, and culture to a global audience.
- Highlight regional advancements and innovations in veterinary medicine.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our profession.
We particularly seek host locations that reflect WSAVA’s core values for the congress: accessibility, inclusivity, representation, sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.
For reference, the current congress rotation is as follows*:
- 2028: Americas
- 2029: Middle East – Africa
- 2030: Europe
- 2031: Asia Oceania
*Subject to change. Under normal circumstances, a minimum of 10 years should pass between congresses hosted in the same country.
How to apply
Please review the Information Pack and submit your Expression of Interest by 19 December 2025. You’ll be asked for your association information and a brief outline of your proposal to host a future WSAVA World Congress.
