The WSAVA Standards Steering Committee (SCC) was established to lead the development of the Essential Standards for Companion Animal Veterinary Practices (ESCAVP). Their goal is to create practical, globally relevant standards that improve patient care, support veterinary teams and enhance companion animal veterinary practice worldwide. This initiative was launched in response to strong support from WSAVA Member Associations and is guided by collaboration, structure, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The purpose of this survey is to assess the state of veterinary practice standards across different regions, identify key challenges, and evaluate the feasibility of implementing the Essential Standards for Companion Animal Veterinary Practices (ESCAVP).
