<>Thai Key Opinion Leaders brief RCC on Thai animal reproduction practice

On February 12, members of the WSAVA’s Reproduction Control Committee were invited to Bangkok, Thailand, by VPAT in order to discuss the latest thinking on companion animal reproduction. Key Opinion Leaders from Thailand were also able to discuss some of the details in the draft WSAVA’s Global Guidelines on Reproduction Control which are relevant to their region.
RCC Committee member and VPAT Past President, Dr Kaywalee Chatdarong, says: “Members of VPAT were keen to understand more about the work of the RCC and the Guidelines it is developing. We were also grateful to members of the RCC who gave presentations on key topics in reproduction, including decisions around ovariectomy v ovariohysterectomy; non-surgical sterilization and the ethics of mandatory spay-neuter programs.”
