Prof. Dr.  Felisbina Queiroga is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Oncology of Companion Animals at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) in Portugal. A dedicated educator, researcher, and international speaker, she has delivered more than 100 invited lectures across 20 countries, supervised over 140 theses, and authored more than 120 indexed publications. Her academic background includes a PhD and Habilitation in Veterinary Sciences, with a focus on oncology, and she currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers in Veterinary Sciences – Oncology. Prof. Dr.  Queiroga’s expertise extends beyond academia, with extensive experience in the accreditation of veterinary programs in Europe and Latin America, and upcoming missions in other regions.

Prof. Dr.  Queiroga has played an active role in the WSAVA community, serving on the Executive Board from 2019 to 2023 and contributing to several committees, including Oncology, One Health, Therapeutics, and Hereditary Diseases. She has been deeply involved in WSAVA Congress organization and has championed engagement with Portuguese-speaking and Ibero-American countries. Her leadership extends to national and international associations such as APMVEAC, OMV, ESVONC, FECAVA, and FIAVAC, and she is an honorary member of veterinary associations in Brazil and Mexico. Passionate about advancing veterinary oncology and fostering global collaboration, Prof. Dr. Queiroga combines her scientific expertise with a strong commitment to the veterinary profession worldwide.
