The WSAVA Congress provides high-quality clinical and non-clinical continuing education (CE) for veterinary professionals worldwide. The WSAVA Education Committee is now accepting speaker proposals for the 2027 Congress and registering interest in other educational initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For
We are inviting passionate, knowledgeable professionals eager to share insights with veterinarians, veterinary nurses, technicians, and the broader veterinary team. Whether your expertise is in clinical innovations, practical approaches, or non-clinical areas relevant to companion animal practice, we want to hear from you!
To be considered, speakers must:
- Be available for the entire congress.
- Submit at least three session proposals. Single-topic submissions will not be considered.
- Commit to a minimum of three sessions (to justify travel and the full speaker package benefits, please note travel arrangements are economy class only).
Suggested Topics
Topics can be clinical or non-clinical, but must focus on companion animals in line with WSAVA’s mission to advance the health and welfare of companion animals worldwide through an educated, committed, and collaborative global veterinary community.
Examples include:
- Clinical case studies and innovative techniques
- Practical tips for veterinary practice
- Business or management strategies
- Sustainability in veterinary practice
- Customer care, communication, and team engagement
Session Formats
We welcome a variety of session types. When submitting, please indicate which formats suit your proposed session:
- 45-minute presentation (including Q&A)
- 20-minute concise presentation (including Q&A)
- Interactive workshops or masterclasses (up to 30 participants)
- Hands-on dry lab sessions
- Panel discussions
- Case studies with practical implementation steps
- Conceptual or thought-provoking ideas
Key points:
- Sessions must be delivered in English
- Audience engagement is encouraged
- Limited slots are available; submission does not guarantee a speaking opportunity
- Sessions may be recorded and made available on the WSAVA Academy
