Veterinary students are the future of our fantastic profession so have a key role to play within the WSAVA. We’re currently recruiting IVSA members to join some of our clinical committees as Student Ambassadors. In this role they will increase their knowledge and meet leading members of the profession while supporting their committee’s work.
WSAVA committees currently looking for IVSA Student Ambassadors are:
- Global Dental Committee
- Global Pain Council
- Professional Wellness Group
- Oncology Working Group
- Scientific Committee
- Therapeutics Guidelines Group
IVSA member Rana Fauziah from Indonesia is a Student Ambassador for our Animal Welfare Committee. She says: “In my role, I organize and attend committee meetings and take minutes, as well as helping in other ways such as preparing social media posts. I also put forward ideas that are popular with students. It’s a great opportunity to learn and to bring your own ideas and perspectives to the committee you’re supporting.”
