WSAVA Partners with Not One More Vet to Support Veterinary Mental Health Worldwide

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association is pleased to announce a new educational partnership with Not One More Vet,cInc. (NOMV), a leading advocate for mental health and wellbeing in the veterinary profession.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting veterinary professionals worldwide by strengthening access to mental health resources, education and peer support.

NOMV’s mission—to transform the status of mental wellness in the profession so that veterinary professionals can survive and thrive—aligns closely with WSAVA’s ongoing work to support the wellbeing of veterinary teams globally.

Through this partnership, WSAVA and NOMV will work collaboratively to amplify access to trusted resources. As an initial step, NOMV’s resources will be made available through the WSAVA Academy external resources page, helping veterinary professionals around the world access practical support and guidance.

Both organisations will also explore opportunities for future collaboration through WSAVA’s Professional Wellness Committee, including the potential development of joint educational materials and initiatives to address key challenges facing the profession.

Commenting on the partnership, Richard Casey WSAVA Executive Director said: “Supporting the mental health and wellbeing of veterinary professionals is essential to the future of our profession. This partnership with Not One More Vet allows us to connect our global network with trusted, practical resources, helping ensure that veterinary teams everywhere have access to the support they need.

Global collaboration is essential to changing the trajectory of mental health and wellbeing in the veterinary profession. This partnership creates an opportunity to look beyond individual resilience and address the systems in which veterinary professionals work. Together, we can amplify resources, share knowledge across borders, and build sustainable cultures of wellbeing that support veterinary teams worldwide.” added Gigi Tsontos, CEO, NOMV.

The partnership is built on a shared commitment to collaboration, mutual support and the recognition of each organisation’s expertise and strengths.

By working together, WSAVA and NOMV aim to contribute to a healthier, more resilient veterinary profession—ensuring that those who care for animals are also supported to care for themselves.
