WSAVA Executive Board – Call for Nominations

Four new Executive Board members to be elected during the 2020 Assembly Meeting

The WSAVA’s Executive Board (EB) sets the association’s strategy and oversees the delivery of that strategy. Accountable to the WSAVA Assembly, it works closely with Secretariat, which runs the association day-to-day, working with EB members, WSAVA Committees, Member Representatives and Partners as appropriate.

The EB currently comprises:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Honorary Treasurer
  • Honorary Secretary
  • Past President
  • Board Member

EB members hold a two-year term of office, commencing after the WSAVA Assembly Meeting 2020. This year, we are seeking nominations for:

*The current retiring Vice President, Dr Siraya Chunekamrai, will be an matic nominee for the position of President, as per point 5.5 of the WSAVA By-Laws.

We are phasing out the Honorary Secretary role and plan to increase the size of the EB with more general members to ensure it is more regionally representative of our members.

For more details about the nomination process and other information, please visit our Careers page.

The deadline to nominate yourself or someone else for one of the positions above is June 24, 2020.
