WSAVA World Congress heads for China in 2024!

Thank you to the Beijing Small Animal Veterinary Association (BJSAVA) and Shanghai Small Animal Veterinary Association (SHSAVA) for jointly hosting #WSAVA24 in Shanghai, a city famous for its global outlook

During the last 30 years, China’s small animal veterinary industry has exploded and the country’s 400,000+ veterinarians are a growing force in our global veterinary community. This is why we’re delighted to announce that #WSAVA2024 will take place in Shanghai’s Convention & Exhibition of International Sourcing, in the heart of this exciting city, surrounded by its many historical buildings, parks, art galleries and piers.

WSAVA World Congress heads for China in 2024!
Dr Torren Stone
Representative of the Local Host Committee and Vice Chair of SHSAVA
The WSAVA is a hallmark for advanced veterinary expertise and has a progressive stance on animal welfare. As a WSAVA Member Representative for many years, I have always dreamed of bringing a global outlook and international standards to China so that our veterinarians can become more integrated into the WSAVA’s global veterinary community. My dream is shared by thousands of Chinese veterinarians.

Dr Stone adds:

“We look forward to welcoming outstanding lecturers from all over the world to #WSAVA2024 and hope they will share different perspectives on technological advances, patient management, new treatment approaches and cutting-edge research and experience. We believe that the Congress will give Chinese veterinarians a deeper and comprehensive understanding of WSAVA, as well as opportunities to meet their global colleagues.

We also hope it will establish the basis for a longer-term strengthening of the relationship between Chinese member associations and the WSAVA. Our members are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to contribute to the development of the global veterinary industry through engaging more closely with the WSAVA.”
