We are proud to announce that the 2025 WSAVA Companion Animal Welfare Award has been awarded to Dr. Hannah Capon (United Kingdom). Her nomination was submitted by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) in recognition of her tireless commitment to improving the lives of dogs affected by chronic pain, particularly osteoarthritis, and for her pioneering leadership in veterinary education and advocacy.
We are proud to announce that the 2025 WSAVA International Award for Scientific Achievement has been awarded to Prof. Holger Volk (Germany), in recognition of his outstanding and sustained contributions to veterinary neurology and his global leadership in advancing companion animal health through scientific excellence.
